A year of basketball in Cambodia with LPA Athletes
Thank you to the League Player Ambassadors (LPA 2025/26 ) that took time to share a testimonial.
LPA athletes are more than just players on the court. They are young basketball players who have used the SEAJBL and CJBC pathway to compete, develop, gain confidence, build connections and create new opportunities.
Over the past season, our LPA players have experienced:
🏀 Stronger competition — testing themselves against new teams and players from across the region.
📈 Player development — improving skills, basketball IQ, discipline and game understanding.
🤝 New connections — meeting coaches and players and becoming part of a wider basketball community.
🌏 New opportunities — gaining exposure to coaches, training environments, scrimmages and future playing opportunities.
⭐ Real experiences — including VIP access, CJBC experiences and opportunities to represent the SEAJBL community.
And perhaps the best part?
They can tell you themselves.
“SEAJBL helped me get started and get seen by other coaches.”
— Prak Bunheng
“I got to play against strong competition, improve my game and meet some new people.”
— Suy Kagnarith
“I improved a lot as a player… in terms of confidence, discipline, and understanding the game.”
— Lay Sunheng
“If you genuinely want to elevate your game, SEAJBL is the real deal.”
— Khov Borebo
These are the stories behind the League Player Ambassador 2025/26 program.
Registrations for LPA 2026/27 tryouts are now open and we hope to work with an empower another group of youth athletes in Cambodia.
