FAQs
  • Once signed up, how do users use MySEAJBL Jnr Skills?
    • By joining a SEAJBL program, players gain access to MySEAJBL Jnr Skills. After registration, you’ll receive an email invitation to set up your account. From there, your coach will guide your player through their basketball development journey—helping them unlock skill achievements step by step as they train, learn, and improve.
  • How often will their progress be updated?
    • Progress is updated regularly in the app, usually on a weekly basis. How quickly a player advances depends on their ability, effort, and attendance. As they attend sessions and build their skills, new achievements will automatically be reflected in their MySEAJBL Jnr Skills profile.
  • Do players keep their profile forever?
    • MySEAJBL Jnr Skills is designed for junior players and parents to enjoy, reflect on, and share their basketball development journey. Profiles remain active as long as they’re being used, but will be deactivated after 12 months of inactivity. If you’d like to keep a record, profile exports are available upon request.
  • What’s the difference between MySEAJBL Jnr Skills and normal basketball training?
    • Traditional basketball training sessions often end when practice is over, leaving players to manage their own development outside the court. MySEAJBL Jnr Skills bridges that gap by providing ongoing support through text and video resources. Players can continue their learning after sessions, track their achievements, and review video highlights of their own performance. This not only helps them better understand their coach’s feedback but also gives them clear guidance on how to improve their fundamentals step by step.
  • Do players who transition or participate in other SEAJBL programs continue to have their progress tracked?
    • Yes. MySEAJBL Jnr Skills is designed to capture the full journey of a player’s basketball development over many years. As players grow older, build confidence, and move into new SEAJBL programs—including competitive gameplay—their progress continues seamlessly. This ensures every step of their development is tracked, recognised, and built upon.
  • How long does the training take? How many hour each week is required?
    • Unlike other apps or online videos that simply ask players to watch and copy drills, MySEAJBL Jnr Skills is fully integrated with real training sessions led by coaches. Each session typically runs for 60 minutes or more. Beyond that, the real value comes from how much a player chooses to invest—the app can be used for just 5 extra minutes a week or several hours, depending on their dedication and goals. This flexibility means every player can progress at their own pace, with ongoing support and feedback.
  • Is it a group training or 1-on-1 with the coach?
    • MySEAJBL Jnr Skills is flexible and works in both settings. Depending on the program and the player’s needs, it can be used during group sessions or in focused 1-on-1 training with a SEAJBL coach.
  • After the players unlocks gold achievement for every skill – what happens next?
    • We won’t spoil the surprise—but completing every skill to Gold is no small feat. Beyond the pride of reaching their full basketball potential through hard work and dedication, MySEAJBL Jnr Skills includes a special reward for juniors who achieve 100% completion of their Skills journey.
  • Do I need a basketball court to use MySEAJBL Jnr Skills?
    • Not at all. While some skills are best developed on a court, many drills can be completed at home or in any safe, open space such as a driveway, park, or community area. The program is designed to be flexible so players can keep improving wherever they are.
  • Is it for everyone or age limited?
    • MySEAJBL Jnr Skills is designed for players who are under 18 years of age.
