Beginner Program / Kids Hoops Basketball
SEAJBL Beginner Program / Kids Hoops Basketball – Terms & Conditions

 

1. Participation Eligibility

  • The beginner program is open to children aged 6–12.

  • If your child is younger or older and wishes to participate please indicate this upon registration. 

  • All participants must be registered in advance through the official SEAJBL registration platform.

  • Parental or legal guardian consent is mandatory for all participants.​

2. Package Options

10-Session Package

  • This package allows your registered child to attend any 10 beginner program sessions.
  • If your child is unable to attend a session, it will not be deducted from your package.

Unlimited 10-Week Package

  • This package allows your registered child to attend up to 4 beginner sessions per week for a period of 10 weeks.
  • Attending any session within a week will count as 1 week used.
  • If your child does not attend any sessions during a given week, that week will not be counted.
  • A week is defined as running from Monday to Sunday.

3. Booking Process & Cancellations

After completing registration, you will receive a booking link to select the session(s) you wish to attend.

  • You may cancel or reschedule your session via the same link up to 24 hours in advance without penalty.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session will still be counted as one session (or one week) attended.

Venue & Weather Cancellations

  • Venue-related or other cancellations will be notified via our WhatsApp group chat [here], and registered participants will be notified as early as possible.

As our programs are held at outdoor venues, weather-related cancellations may occur from time to time.

  • If a session is cancelled before it starts (typically around 2 hours prior to start time), participants will be notified, and the session will not be counted against your package.

  • If poor weather affects the session after it has started, coaches will adjust the session plan and use any available sheltered areas.

  • If the session is interrupted and less than 50% completed, you will receive a full credit for that session.

  • If more than 50% of the session is completed, it will be considered a completed session.

4. Code of Conduct

  • Participants are expected to:

    • Treat coaches, volunteers, and fellow players with respect.

    • Refrain from engaging in bullying, aggressive behaviour, or any form of misconduct.

    • Adhere to the instructions provided by coaches and event organizers.

  • SEAJBL reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate or disruptive.​

5. Health and Safety

  • Participants should be in good health and free from any conditions that could be aggravated by physical activity.

  • It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to inform SEAJBL coaches & coordinators on the day of any medical conditions or special requirements.

  • SEAJBL will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of participants but will not be held liable for injuries sustained during the event, except in cases of proven negligence.​

6. Photography and Videography Consent

  • By registering for and attending the beginner program, participants and their parents or guardians consent to the following:

    • SEAJBL and its authorized representatives may capture photographs and video recordings of the sessions, which may include images of the participants.

    • These images and recordings may be used for promotional, marketing, and informational purposes, including but not limited to publication on SEAJBL’s website, social media platforms, newsletters, and other marketing materials.

    • SEAJBL will not use the images or recordings for commercial purposes unrelated to the promotion of its programs and activities.

  • If a parent or guardian does not wish for their child’s image to be used in this manner, they must notify SEAJBL via email prior to the event.​

7. Data Protection and Privacy

  • Personal information collected during registration will be used solely for the administration of the beginner program and will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent, except as required by law.

  • SEAJBL will store personal data securely and in accordance with applicable data protection laws.​

8. Liability Waiver

  • By participating in the beginner program, participants and their parents or guardians acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with physical activity and agree to waive any claims against SEAJBL, its staff, volunteers, and affiliates for any injury or loss incurred during the event, except in cases of proven negligence.​

9. Amendments to Terms & Conditions

  • SEAJBL reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to registered participants via the contact information provided during registration.

Daily Training & Scrimmage
SEAJBL Daily Training & Scrimmage (DTS) – Terms & Conditions

  • If your child is younger or older and wishes to participate please indicate this upon registration. 

  • All participants must be registered in advance through the official SEAJBL registration platform.

  • Parental or legal guardian consent is mandatory for all participants.​

2. Package Options

20-Session Package

  • This package allows your registered child to attend any 20 DTS sessions.
  • If your child is unable to attend a session, it will not be deducted from your package.

10-Session Package

  • This package allows your registered child to attend any 10 DTS sessions.
  • If your child is unable to attend a session, it will not be deducted from your package.

Team SWISH
SEAJBL Team SWISH – Terms & Conditions

  • The Team SWISH events are open to girls aged 15-23.

  • All participants must be registered in advance through the official SEAJBL registration platform.

  • Parental or legal guardian consent is mandatory for all participants under 18 years of age.​

  • Participants are expected to:

    • Treat coaches, volunteers, and fellow players with respect.

    • Refrain from engaging in bullying, aggressive behaviour, or any form of misconduct.

    • Adhere to the instructions provided by coaches and event organizers.

Payments / Promotions
Payments & Promotions

 

  • Final Payments
    All payments made are final and non-refundable, except in cases specifically approved by management.

  • Refunds
    Refunds, if any, will be reviewed and granted strictly on a case-by-case basis.

  • No Change of Mind
    Requests for refunds or cancellations due to a change of mind will not be accepted.

  • Credit Option
    In certain cases, credit may be provided for future use instead of a refund.

  • Promotional Codes
    Promotional codes cannot be used in conjunction with other offers unless otherwise clearly stated in the promotion.
